The Mary House After School Program
The Mary House After School Program has been a cornerstone of our commitment to children's education since 1997. The Mary House After School Program serves 10-20 kids, from pre-K to 5th grade, and operates in close partnership with local schools. Through this collaboration, we pick children up from school and walk them to our site, ensuring a seamless transition from their academic day to our enriching after-school activities. The program is provided without cost Monday through Thursday from 3:30PM to 6:30PM and includes reading enrichment, academic support, and recreational activities.
Key Features: Academic Support: Many of the students we work with come from homes where English is not the primary spoken language. Our dedicated team focuses on improving their reading, writing, and comprehension skills, providing tailored support to address individuals needs.
Safe and Nurturing Environment: Our goal is to create a safe haven for children to thrive. The program offers a supportive space where kids can enjoy a healthy snack, bond with their peers living at Mary House, and complete their homework with guidance from our caring staff.
The Mary House Summer Camp
The Mary House Summer Camp is highly anticipated, in-person, full-day camp experience for children residing at Mary House. Our dedicated staff organizes different themes, games, and activities each week, creating an engaging and enriching environment. This year's summer camp will be conducted in person, offering a unique opportunity for children to come together, learn, and make lasting memories. The in-person format fosters a sense of community and connection, allowing kids to engage with their peers, building friendships, and share experiences in a supportive and interactive environment.
