Community Pantry
& Essentials Program

Too often, families have to make difficult choices about buying food, paying rent, or providing medical care for their children. Mary House offers a free pantry twice a month stocked with pantry staples, fresh produce, and personal care items — because every family deserves access to life's essentials.

The program serves over 100 families each month from nine community-based organizations across the DC area, including Mary House families, with a shared commitment to supporting our greater immigrant community.

Our Kids' Closet

Clothing is more than fabric — it's dignity, confidence, and belonging.

Twice a month, families are invited to exchange their children's outgrown clothes for new and gently loved items — from newborn onesies to teenage wardrobes. A curated selection of adult clothing is also available for parents to browse.

Our exchange model keeps the closet sustainable and alive — families give what their children have outgrown and take what they need next. Regular donations from generous outside supporters ensure the closet stays stocked and full of options.
