The Success We've Achieved Together

Mary House operates within a network of support systems for immigrants and refugees in the DC area. Our participants benefit from referrals to peer organizations like Mary’s Center, addressing medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare needs. Collaborations with Casa de Maryland, Catholic Charities, and Caracen provide our families with essential legal support. Partnerships with the Capital Area Food Bank, Costco, Panera Bread, DC Central Kitchen, local churches, and neighborhood groups ensure the upkeep of our food pantry.

In tandem with public schools, we prioritize comprehensive support for our students, aiding parents in advocating for Individualized Education Plans and offering assistance both in and out of school. Furthermore, we engage in extensive partnerships with various adult continuing education programs, facilitating opportunities for participants to pursue degrees, professional training certificates, and English language proficiency.

Each of these organizations, and many others, refer people in need of housing, case-management, and advocacy support to us.

"Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of immigrant and refugee families, one step at a time".
